Growing old was bad enough, but now he was schizophrenic or something as well?!

With a startled snort, Piers’ feet dropped off of his desk and he shot up from his relaxed position and sat up straight in his chair. Blinking several times, his eyes adjusted to the light... and the dozens of children that were suddenly in his classroom. Oh, good. He wasn’t going insane. Piers looked at the clock with a rather dazed look. Ah, look at the time. Time for Charms.

Standing up slowly (so as not to break himself again), the Charms Professor wiped off a wet spot on his cheek, buttoned his blazer and strode up to the front of the class. He cleared his throat.

”Hello.”

This is awkward.

Time to focus. ”Uh, alright, everybody take a seat, settle down. Put on your happy faces.” Eyes to you, Ascanius. That kid had the stare of a thousand daggers, man.

Shaking his head, to wake himself up, Fuller pulled out a box from under his desk that contained several personal hand mirrors. ”Alrighty. As all of you have noticed, there’s something weird going on at Hogwarts this year.” This year, last year, every year ever, basically. ”Most of you have started aging prematurely. Wrinkles, grey hair, hearing loss, becoming nearsighted, breaking things... being particularly gassy.” Ringing any bells? ”Although we can’t fix it, we can do little things to help you look and maybe even feel younger. Because, let’s face it, you four-foot-tall grannies are kind of creeping me out.” And he hated feeling old, basically.

”Today I’m going to teach you some simple tips to keep yourself looking young and fresh. And for those of you who aren’t having this aging issue,” you lucky snotheads ”Yes, you still have to participate and, yes, this will still be beneficial to you and your friends. You can use these when you get older, or... teach them to your grandma or something.”

Picking up his wand from his desk, Piers gave the box of mirrors a swish and one mirror floated to each student’s desk in the classroom. As the mirrors landed on their desks, Piers walked over to the board and picked up a piece of chalk. But before he wrote anything he turned back to the class. ”First, let’s talk. For you old people, what do you find the most hindering about your current state? And those who aren’t affected by this plague, what do you find the most irritating about it? Your friends, your boyfriend, everyone is all wrinkly and slow! It’s gotta be a bit strange plantin’ a kiss on a bloke that looks like your grandfather.” Right? Right.

”Come on, tell me. What sucks the most? What do you wish you could change the most?” Because he would write them down. And then they would fix them.

OOC: Feel free to discuss! Class will continue in about 8 hours!

How exactly was she going to participate? She wasn't exactly old. And she was one of like thirty or less kids in the whole school. Maybe she'd just say random stuff? Or like participate in the things she understood. Because there was some things she just didn't. Feeling old and being slow were two perfect examples.

Okay, which part sucks? Nothing. She wasn't old. But she was supposed to participate, RIIIGHT? So she would have to wing it. Wasn't that hard. She did that a loooot. Because well, she was about to turn twelve. She didn't exactly know what she was doing yet.

"Well, I imagine that it has to be the feeling, ya know? Of like not being able to keep up." Because this lot moved sllooooooowwly. She could attest. The redhead got caught behind them a couple of times. Let's just say that if they weren't old Caelen would have been a lot less forgiving. She might have pushed past them. Because she had stuff to dooo.

But she felt bad for the old people sometimes. Because Hogwarts had a buttload of stairs. She would know. She was a Ravenclaw. Leg muscles were probably going to become her thing by the time she was a seventh year. And secondly, ummm, did anyone notice that they had to run across the school for classes? Gross. She barely ran to get the mail back home and they had to move their old bodies everywhere. All at once, she was immensely proud that she wasn't affected by the disgusting thing.

Also, incurable? She was going to go to a school full of old people for the rest of her years here? All of those poor people! Seriously, she had a potion for sale over here and she was glad to use it. Not because they were ugly, but because they might want clearer skin and such.

Anyway, she sat back and listened to the conversation she couldn't really participate in. Because she didn't know what exactly was going on here. Hogwarts was a weird place. She heard from Nate that they were broke last year and there was like one house elf -which she was still not really used to- and food sucked. So apparently every year was weird. It was a weird school. A really weird school at times. -totally not looking at any of the old students though she totally did-.
