"I don't want the dance anymore."
"Don't be ridiculous," she said, trying to look upbeat and positive and excited and the total opposite of how she felt at that moment. Especially 'cause she could SEE a West and a Bliss out of the corner of her eye over there, which most definitely didn't help her mood. But her best had been promised an Alice dance, and she was getting one, okay?
"Of course you do. C'mere."
Tugging Dora closer by her hands, she crept onto her friend's toes and wiggled emphatically in an attempt to dance. Really, what was dancing? Moving your body around in an artistic fashion? She supposed what she was doing could be considered artistic by the standards of someone. It could.
And look, the Beatles song was over, so they had the live stuff again. See? Alice pushed the Ravenclaw's mouth up into a smile. Be happy.
She paused a couple of times in her so called 'dancing' to glance over at the stage again, and..... was West singing
to Olly? Those lyrics paired with his line of sight didn't do very nice things for her head, especially with glances to Vesper following right after. The seventh year watched him until he shifted his gaze off of her, then went back to her Dora cheering up.
Bests were more important than boyfriends who liked to serenade the whole female population of the school, right? Right.
