Why were there so many stairs?

She tried her best to fight the pain as she'd finally made her way into the Charms classroom, only to find that nearly everyone else was already there. She wasn't late was she? Oh no, she knew that the Professor would deduct points from her house if she were tardy! Panic-stricken, she immediately made her towards a desk and saw the Professor off in the distance.

OH NO-wait...is he....sleeping?

Was it his nap time? Taking a moment, she looked around at everyone else with a slight bit of confusion on her own face. In that scan her eyes settled on her very nice Quidditch Catapain, Mo & couldn't help but give him a very quick friendly & soft, "H-Hi Captain Mo.." Did he know what was wrong with the Professor? Did anyone know? Should someone go and stir him awake? Were they still going to have today's lesson? Josette figured she'd better follow everyone else's example and just find a seat, which she found towards the front/middle part of the classroom.

Just as she was sitting down, she'd noticed another familiar face she couldn't ignore. It was Ella, the really nice girl she'd baked cookies with. She was very nice. Did she know she was nice? She hoped she did. Josette even hoped that her father would think she was nice, because the first year definitely thought so. Almost instantly, she gave the older blonde a quick wave before whispering, "H-Hi....Ellaphant.." She couldn't help saying her nickname, besides Ella had said she could call her this, right? Right?

...Now...was someone going to wake the Professor?

..or would the Charms lesson be rescheduled?

...Perhaps the Professor needed a day off or something & didn't post anything on the noticed boards?
