He always knew when adults didn't like him. Believe him he had a lot that he knew. Especially at his old school. Thought lately he wasn't sure if he really had many, he hadn't moved much to cause any to dislike him. "I questioned him in his last class about the way he was teaching and he told me I could leave. So I did." Huff see didn't like him.
"I just don't know how you can enjoy something so boring and confusing." He didn't like the class and no one would show him otherwise as far as he was concerned. His brown eyes jumped up through the wrinkles, "Of course I did. Flames? Witch trials? Who wouldn't. It was awesome, plus the snacks at the end fantastic." Yep the man was in his cool list, did he know?
Speaking of people on his different list he had never met the healer before, "Have you met this healer? What will she do?" Not that he hadn't broke bones before, but each healer was different so he wasn't too sure.
Braith tilted his head and gave Bart a questioning, sidelong glance.
"What makes you say that?" he began. Surely something happened to make him feel that way. It wasn't as if he didn't believe that Bart truly felt that way, though he also knew how Botros felt about his students and teaching in general. Listening further, he thought he understood more what Bart meant.
"Alright.. well, was it the questioning or the manner in which it was done? Sometimes if there is an issue it's best to speak to a teacher privately." Of course he didn't know how Bart acted in class but he couldn't see Botros asking him to leave without good reason.
"Teachers just expect certain rules of conduct to be followed while they're in class." Certainly he remembered the young lady who had an outburst in his own class. She had been given the same option but it didn't mean Braith disliked her. And he doubted Ab had that opinion of Mr. Maroon.
Braith couldn't help but to chuckle.
"You know, Professor Botros was my teacher once, a while ago. But Runes, just like anything else, is all in how you look at it. Find some way to make it interesting." He nodded, keeping the grin on his face, as Bart mentioned his class. Exactly his point.
"I'm glad you thought so. Some people think history is boring. I really try to find a way to make it interesting for students." And some he was sure thought so, while he knew others didn't like his approach. Or he probably wouldn't have had a student leave.
"I've met Healer Tillstorm but I don't know her well," he admitted. He hadn't gotten to know much of the staff having been as busy as he was but that all seemed like good people and knowledgeable.
"I'm not a Healer myself so I don't really know, but healing spells and potions really work wonders." He was lucky to be a wizard, really.
"I'm sure she can fix you up, no problem."
