Curse breaking? Ugh, avada kedavra her now.
The last time they did curse breaking work was Arithmancy class and they all see how
brilliantly that turned out with the Gryffindor getting hardly anything. Her first thought was to slump onto her seat again and wait for the lesson to be over but then she thought about her OWLs...what if the Professor put THIS on her exam???
Lex tried everything in her power to listen as the Professor spoke. She couldn't afford to be clueless, not at a time like this. Not when her important graded depended on it.
Suffice to say that even while paying super close attention it wasn't all clear. Granted, she wasn't lost and would probably be able to be of some use to herself but at the same time she didn't think she'd gotten it completely to the point where if the Professor snuck into the girl's dorm at all ungodly hours of the morning, woke her from her sleep and asked about curse breaking she'd be able to draw him a diagram........after drowsily sharing half her mind but you got the idea.
It was quite a thing for the Gryffindor to not need her text for rune identification. She was getting better at them.
