Okay, so any symbol? Adi flipped through his book, looking for a symbol that appealed to him. Scan, scan, scan through the pages...until he paused at the Winged Sun. Adi liked the look of this symbol so he decided he'd stick with this one.
The thirteen year old began with a little write up about his chosen symbol:

In Egypt, the winged Sun symbolises divinity, royalty and power. Most times, there is a Uraeus (Egyptian Cobra) on either side of it. The Winged Sun can sometimes be found on the neck of Apis (a bull deity) or the Bull of Ptah.
