She'd also said some other words that Harper didn't understand but he couldn't ask because he'd been eavesdropping and he wasn't meant to do that. "I want to live with daddy," he said solemnly, realising that divorce would mean they wouldn't all live together anymore.
Gwen grabbed as many as she could hold. Yes they were her favorite. She didn't even know how much they were, but she knew she wanted a lot of them. Hopefully she had enough Christmas money to buy them. Or she could try and sneak out too. If only her pockets were bigger...
Gwen shrugged. "Yeah unless he told you he didn't. But I don't know your daddy." It was true. She knew her mum still loved her. She told Gwen all the times in her letters. "I'd rather live with my mum...but I didn't have much of a choice." Her mum was soo much nicer.
