"Are your parents here?" he asked Gwen in return, looking around to see if he could spot anyone. It didn't seem like she'd come in here with an adult. Maybe she'd run away like he had? It would certainly explain why she didn't want him making a scene.
Gwen grinned a little. So this boy had run away like she did. Maybe she should mean her apology. Maybe. She looked at the shelves, grabbing a few more blood pops for her dad.
"My dad's outside talking to some old friends from when he went to Hogwarts. I was bored so I came in here." See. Same exact thing. Old people really needed to not bore their children with those types of conversations.
