"Is it because I'm so good looking and talented that people want to gossip about meeeeee?" she mused innocently. "I'm far too busy and carefree to talk about others behind their backs, you see. So are you just projecting this gossip label upon me, Sierra? That's how I see it." She could be painfully honest too. And plus, Sierra had just admitted to having no proof! Ha!

No comment on the quidditch team, then. Tori wrote that down in a nice large and loopy hand. Brilliant, she hoped Sierra would see her notes. They were in plain sight on the bar, after all. Has an unquenchable thirst for red currant rum, she wrote down as well.

And just LOOK at little Greingoth's face! Hahaha! Another evil chuckle might have escaped Tori's lips as she jotted down the brunette's reaction. "Oh but you asked, dear Sierra. You asked where my interest in politics was, and I only replied honestly." Since that word was the theme of the night. "Your father is my business, I'm afraid, as I represent the good readers of the Daily Prophet and by putting himself into politics, he willingly entered the spotlight as a public figure." An easily attackable public figure, she might add.

She had another small sip of her drink as Sierra tried to turn the tables on her. Unfortunately, she needed to do her research before she attempted to attack the Bunburys. "Anastasia is my cousin, darling, and if you could read the papers, you would see that she is not at all to blame for anything that goes wrong at Hogwarts." Tori tucked her quill behind her ear with a smirk in Sierra's direction. Yes, her cousin's titillating editorial in the fall had quite resolved that. "Hogwarts is cursed. You should know. Wasn't it your stepmother who taught there?" Oooh more Greingoth family drama, ripe for reporting.

Sierra couldn't help the inevitable snort of laughter that came after Bunbury's first comment. "Wow," she said, raising her eyebrows. "You really think highly of yourself, don't you?" Deep down inside, Sierra had noted Toris hair, nails, and designer clothes. She could have afforded them, but they weren't her style. Nevertheless, she did feel sort of like a boring piece of plywood hanging out in a field of sunflowers.

"Let's just say I'm...stereotyping you on purpose," she answered. "What are you writing anyway?" Her tone had an increasing amount of annoyance in it by this point. "I'm not here to appear in some hot off the press article of yours, Tori. I wouldn't trust any of it anyway." She leaned over a bit to try and catch the words on the parchment.

Her father. Sigh. "Well, my father has retired, so please do UN-make him your business," she said. "Cousin. Aunt. Whatever. She's not to blame much in the same way my father isn't to blame for anything in the Ministry he didn't directly cause." So THERE. Sierra didn't think it was possible for Tori to push anymore of Sierra's buttons, but lo and behold... "MOTHER. She is NOT my stepmother," she snapped. Button of all buttons = PUSHED.
