Today was one of her days off from the Owl Post, and usually Vashti would have used it to get most of her homework from university, but instead she'd decided, with Anakin's encouragement, to make it an actual day off. At least for most of the day. Regina had been obsessed with wanting to go to Hogsmeade recently after hearing about it, so Vashti decided today was probably a good time to do that. Naia hadn't really wanted to go, so she'd stayed home with her dad. A little bit of Apparition later and - poof! - they were in Hogsmeade.
Honeydukes was the shop that really caught Gina's eye, so they walked into there first, Vashti making sure to keep hold of her hand.
"Ooooo, lookit CANDY!" the three-year-old squealed excitedly, her eyes trying to take in everything as quickly as possible. "Mummy, can we get some pleeeeeeease??"
Vashti couldn't help but smile at her excitement. "Sure," she replied. "We'll get enough to take home to Naia and Daddy." Regina almost didn't wait for a response, already tugging on her hand to try and drag her over to one of the shelves.
With her day off from work at St Mungo's,
Trixie had decided that it was prime opportunity to take Ruby to Hogsmeade after she had begged her to take her there. Tabitha clearly had other plans with her father and had stayed with him getting up to goodness knew what along with the twins. She had apparated in along with the six year old and wandered along the street until she found somewhere that caught her eye.
Thankfully Ruby wasn't the sort of child to be obsessed with sweets and she usually ate pretty healthily but with Honeydukes beautiful candy display, the brunettes eyes had lit up and she pulled her mother towards the shop window. "Can we go in here please?" she asked politely, looking up towards her mother. "Of course we can" the former head girl grinned down at her daughter. She followed along happily when her hand was pulled, knowing that she wouldn't ask for much.
"How about we get everyone a little something?" she suggested, opening the door to the shop and walking in only for her eyes to fall on two very familiar faces. She knew Ruby had spotted them too and she put her finger to her lips.
"Shh, don't let them hear you" she giggled, taking hold of her daughters hand and sneaking up behind them.
"Boo" the blonde spoke into Vashti's ear with a small smirk feeling like a child again.
