Harper stood his ground but he also got ready to put on the waterworks and to fall over if need be. That always worked out for him, and if he said she pushed him she was sure to get in trouble and be forced to apologise. Gwen just looked at the boy. She just listened as he talked, trying not to roll her eyes. She was getting in trouble for that a lot lately at school. She came to a decision though: this wasn't worth her time. It was just going to draw an adult's attention and she'd end up stuck back with her dad. "I don't think I will." With that she walked around him to the other shelf ot look at the sugar quills. Those were always her favorite. Gwen was completely ignoring the boy at this point.
