He laughed somewhat cruelly, then. Annie understood him. He loved her for that, no matter how... rudely she had treated him back then. "Thank you, Headmistress. I hope both will enjoy it." He was sure he gave the girl her life's chance, though, really. A new chance to make Cutty love her again or something, though he doubted she would be loved by any with that voice of hers.

"I'd love to." He felt relieved that she officially invited him, because you never knew with these women.

He ate the last bit of his crêpe and poured himself a cup of tea. After drinking that, he was all ready to go.
