Josette just happened to notice Ella seem to be a little bit in pain, or so she thought. She couldn't help but ask the older girl, "Are you alright?" Once again grabbing onto the counter, she slowly knelt down (trying to ignore the sound of her cracking knees) as her blue eyes began to search through the cabinet of different baking stuff. Thankfully she found the salt very quickly seeing as to how it was RIGHT in front of her face. Although, this baking soda did take her a bit longer, but somehow she'd managed to find it. With what strength she could muster, the first year stood up straight again (hearing her back crack this tiem) & made her way back to the table once more wondering if Ella had found her baking supplies.
She was fine, just in a bit of pain. And really, Ella wished she knew what was going on because this creaky bones and greying hair stuff was not fun. Not even a little. How was she meant to play Quidditch like this? That thought was weighing heavy on her mind but she pushed it aside and smiled at the younger girl.
"I'm just a bit sore, is all. Been running around too much or something. No worries."
Vanilla had been easy to find because Ella had used it not too long ago when making waffles. The blonde set it with the other ingredients and then went back for the chocolate chips, the thing she'd been trying to grab when she spotted Josie earlier. Instead of hopping up on the counter like she'd normally do, the Head Girl pulled out her wand and summoned them. Then those were placed beside the other ingredients and they were ready to go. Grin!
After quickly heading to the oven and setting it to the correct temperature, the blonde eyed the younger girl thoughtfully.
"We'll need a large bowl, some measuring spoons, and some measuring cups." Nod.nod.
"Maybe a wooden spoon too for mixing." Though they could probably just use the spoon and bowl she'd been working with before now that it was clean.
"And then we can measure out 3/4 cup of each kind of sugar and 1 cup of butter." Mhm. Those were going in the bowl.
"I'll grab the measure cups and spoons! Be right back!" And she slowly made her way to where they were stored. It took her several minutes but she eventually returned with them and set them down.
"You want to measure out the sugars?"
