Sander looked up as the Professor began to give further instructions. Like before he picked up his quill and quickly copied down the next steps into his potions journal.



Once he was done, he put down his quill and reached for his cauldron. Pointing his wand at it, he stared at it for awhile trying to remember the cleaning spell again. Finally, he reluctantly turned to the page in his journal, read through the spells he had written in it before finding the one he wanted. Scourgify.

Pointing his wand inside his cauldron, he said,"Scourgify" and then ended the spell before picking up his cauldron to examine it. He checked to make sure it was thoroughly clean and free from cracks. Once he had determined it was, Sander holstered his wand and placed the cauldron on the burner.

He picked up the glass containing the 0.2 liters seal milk and placed it as close to the cauldron as possible, before slowly pouring the contents into the cauldron. Once every drop was emptied from the glass, Sander placed it aside.

Then he turned the burner on, pointed his wand at it and lit it, saying the words to the spell, "Incendio". He adjusted the temperature to high and counted down one minute on his watch. When the second hand ticked off the last minute, Sander lowered the temperature back down to medium.

Picking up his quill he checked his notes again before scratching out what he had completed.



Sander then sat back, while keeping a vigilant eye on the mixture in his cauldron, and waited for the Professor to tell them what to do next.
