Kace was supposed to meet Adi here today. He was supposed to work on the homework with his buddy. As he made his way to the kitchen, he noticed Adi was there.
"Hey Adi!" he called out to him.
Adi was checking for his pencil, patting his pockets. Oh no! If he had forgotten it, he couldn't make his notes about Kace's reaction to the spell. And speaking of Kace! There he was! Adi raised a hand and with a grin, beckoned his friend over.
"Hiya, Kace! What's up?'' It was good to have a chat with the other Puffer.
"Here, I got you some orange juice, if that's okay with you,'' Adi added as casually as he could. Hopefully it was okay with Kace.
"Drink up, buddy, and let's get this show on the road.'' Out loud, the second year asked,
''How are things going? What's the latest with you and Marigold?'' Oh look! He found his pencil. It had fallen out of his pocket and was on the chair. Excellent! He was all set for note taking.
