Mariel took her time getting ready for this New Year's Eve whatever since Jorge said he had to be early to set up. Just gave her that much more time to look stunning for the event. She would admit that she wasn't all that impressed that this ball would be held at a bowling alley, especially since it wasn't exactly something she did. Wasn't it a muggle game anyway? But she always managed to find amusement in nearly any situation and she was sure to find it in this as well. In fact, she had grown to look forward to it after a few side bets and getting in some secret practice at a muggle bowling alley not far from her house. Muggles often proved to be entertaining.

Besides, not to mention that she wanted to spend the evening with Jorge, her close friend Victoria was meant to come too. With the Ministry closed and her taking a few leaves just before that, they hadn't had much time to catch up lately. That would have to change.

First thing she noticed as she walked in was a prize table and was handed a ticket. Alright then. She supposed that was a nice touch. So now where was she headed? Lane five she was fairly sure he said and green eyes searched for the right location as she headed further in.
