"New? Did you just say new?" she asked, her eyes widening significantly. "OH GOODNESS GRACIOUS HEAAAAAAAAAAVENS ABOVE! I am so terribly sorry, dears. SO TEEEEEEERRIBLY SORRY! I did not know that the Potions Mistress had suffered the same fate as myself."

"YOU!" she shrieked as she raised her translucent hand and POINTED her finger towards the woman. Yes, it was ruuuuuude to point. But she was going to make an exception this time. "YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU! YOU SAID THAT THING WAS SAFE! YOOOOOOU DID THIS TO ME! HOW RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE!!"

Wait, what? BENTLEY did this to her? Had she...had she KILLED her?! OHMIGOSH! Caleb bit his lip and stared back and forth between the Herbology professor and the ghost, his eyes wide in shock. He hadn't really gotten a good OR bad vibe from Bentley ever, but was it true? She was a MURDERER?!
That's it. Caleb was NEVER going to Herbology again. EVER.
"I think Bentley killed her!" he whispered to Sophie in horror. AHHHHHHH.
Sophie blinked and stepped back a bit. Did the ghost have to be so loud?! A simple answer without the whole 'GOODNESS' line constantly coming out would do just fine. Wait a minute...the ghost thought Grandmother Lafay was DEAD?! Sophie grew wide-eyed. She was just about to explain when Caleb did just that.
...and then, CRAZINESS occurred.
Sophie just stared at everything around her. The ghost was fine one moment, and then she was accusing Bentley of killing her the next. *GULP* She mechanically nodded her hand as Caleb suggested the very same thing she was thinking.
"Come on," she whispered,
"let's get out of here before one of them does us in for good."
She pulled at her brother's sleeve as she tip-toed backwards and out of the room. They needed to go get somebody FAST!
