Finally the coffee was done. He started to pour himself a cup when he heard the breaking of something and turned. Seeing boss man and well some other bloke sitting there. Were they there the entire time? He chuckled seeing Basil's face and turned back to the coffee to add cream and sugar. "Have you never seen a bald man before Basil?" His same composure still around not even an ugly mole or bald head could take his confidence.
Turning and leaning against the counter he sipped his coffee, "Fire?" He glanced over to the other man, "Why would you be firing me?" He walked over and took a seat near the bloke that he had seen in the office but never spoke to.
"Any good leads you working on?" Small talk you know to get Basil to stop staring at the head. "Curses can be easily broken, don't worry if it makes you that uncomfortable I'll have my hair back sure enough, but if I can get a good story for us it would be totally worth it." Honestly he probably would do anything for a good headline.
