Lux's arms went all wobbly, and she couldn't get her legs up where they were supposed to go.... then BOOM She came crashing down onto the hard floor.
It.. was a little bit like watching a train wreck in slow motion. There was some screaming (and he was pretty sure that was him shouting LUX in a really panicked, girly voice) and a lot of attempting to help while trying not to get hit in the face with one of her flying legs.
Oh man.
And the crash was the worst part. The dust bunnies in the carpet surfaced for a moment before floating back down to the carpet. Lucas winced,
hard when she hit the floor and experienced a gut wrenching feeling of nausea at the pain she must've felt, for surely her wrists were hurt? But panicking wasn't really his style, and he sort of managed to prioritise himself in the situation. For some reason, a steady calm descended over the boy in the crisis.
He rushed forward, and then took the damage in. Ouch.
"Hey, hey, hey, come on.. Lux? Are you okay?" Gently kneeling beside her, he tried to pull her up to face him.
"Did you break anything?" Eep.
