Tobias raised his own wand and pointed it at a yellow ball whizzing by; what better time to try aiming at a moving target? Tobias aimed his wand and squeezed one eye shut, the way he always did when he was aiming a quaffle at the goalhoop, and cast the spell.
"Ligatenous!"
And it happened! Okay, the chains JUST caught the ball, but catch it they did. And it was a yellow one too. As the ball flailed off, away from the activity area and out of harm's way, Tobias looked back at Ella.
"Badger boom!" he agreed.
It made Ella grin, Tobias' tagline. Not that she wasn't already since he'd agreed to let her invade his practice space and all. It was nice to have someone to work with. Plus she liked seeing him succeed. Proud pseudo!sis was proud, okay? She was also refraining from mentioning how adorable the giggling was because Tobias was probably at that stage where being a
man was important and junk. Lips were zipped, okay?
"Nicely done."
And now it was her turn. The eighteen year looked up and tried to focus on a yellow target. It was kind of overwhelming for the eyes, to be honest. There were chains flying and different color balls zooming this way and that, it was just a lot to take in. She did eventually manage to find a bludger-sized ball tha t she could work with, though. Now she'd just follow it with her wand and..
"Ligatenous!"
Just missed. MAN. She hated that but she was going again, okay? Okay.
She narrowed her eyes slightly and focused once more before saying clearly,
"Ligatenous!" Got it. Chain was wrapped around the ball. Cool.
