His limited-limitless mind could not process the proper reaction to Tobias's expression, having abnormal psychology, and so Cutty remained with a sort of blank look which morphed slightly into an ever-so slightly offended one. Cutty abandoned the ungrateful Hufflepuff by the there-not-there sweets spread wordlessly and gathered around the large blanket under the shadey tree to be closer to hear Professor Fuller's lesson. He picked out a good spot, because if the former Slytho was about to teach them how to perform this mode of trickery, he had Cutty's full attention. He sat and unfastened the latch to his skewl bag to dig out some clean parchment and his ink 'n quill just in case Fuller dropped them into lecture or said anything interesting about the magic they were witnessing. Just knowing what it was would be interesting.

As other students chimed in their answers, Cutty began to consider how possible it was. His hand reached over the edge of the blanket where he was sitting and touched some of the grass. He then brought it up to his face to get a whiff of it. No scent. Whatever this was, the sweets weren't the only things not really present. Therefore nothing in the room was likely to have once been something else. Could it have been a dream charm of some kind? He was going to stick to his answer of it being in some kind of family of charms for illusions and trompe l'oeils.

WHAT DID SOPHIE NEWELL JUST SAY? O_O
