And she was Ariel, so that meant she liked sea-stuff, which meant they should be friends. It made perfect sense.

Aaah, potatoes. Of course. She should have known. "They are rather yummy," she agreed with him while answering his question to her at the same time. While potatoes were not cucumber sandwiches or Chocolate Frogs, she did enjoy them at meals, and they had also proven to be good ammo from a sling shot.

Oh, pretty nails were pretty. But she was not sure why a boy would be wearing nail polish. "The colour suits you," she said with a smile. Well, it was true, and she didn't want to be rude to him because he seemed to be a really nice guy if not strange for having his nails done. "Cucumbers are awesome. Have you ever had cucumber sandwiches?" Because if not, she would have to let him experience it.

Wait... SEA cucumbers?!

Lux gasped. "So they are like cucumbers that merpeople eat?!"
