He was in the tree! Gwen grinned. She loved climbing trees as well. Like the beech tree. She'd climbed that the other day. Not very far up, because Ian had showed up, but still, she would have. She stood up, careful of her aching hip and hobbled over to the professor where she carefully lowered herself onto the ground.
She glanced at her abandoned coffee where she had previously been sitting. It wasn't real? What? It smelled like coffee and tasted like coffee. What did he mean? Was it decaf? She raised her hand. "So you turned this room into sort of a delusion?" That wasn't the right word, but she couldn't find the right one, so that's what she was going for. Whatever the fake-coffee really was, she just hoped it didn't make her sick.
