Weird things were always happening, and she wanted to be right there in the middle of them. She worried her bottom lip between her teeth as she thought and then, after a moment’s hesitation, took a seat on the couch next to the uncomfortable-looking girl.
She whipped the hat off her head, holding in front of the first year’s face for a moment before snatching it away. “Okay, here’s the deal,” she drawled. “I’ll give you this back,” Adrienne said, pointing at the hat dangling in her hand, “if you tell me what happened to make your hair go all weird.” And her face, a bit, but she didn’t mention it. She wasn’t that cruel. Besides, insulting the kid would get her nowhere. Now she wanted answers, and obviously threats and blackmail were the way to go about getting them.
She was still gripping onto her pillows covering her hair as this girl was continuing to keep her hat hostage. Should she try begging the girl next maybe? What would she have to do to get her hat back? What would she have to do in order for this girl to stop being so intent on making her upset?
Wait- What was she doing?
Josette immediately jumped when the girl suddenly took a seat next to her on the couch. She watched her carefully as she took her hat off of her head and held in front of her face only to snatch it away again. She waned to make a deal? Josette's never made deals before. Was it dangerous? Would she get hurt? However cautious she was feeling, she gave the girl her full attention as she spoke to her. It was when she heard the deal that Josette frowned again. She lowered her head beginning to feel more and more upset.
"But...I don't know why my hair is doing this.." She struggled not to cry again.
"I just noticed my hair was changing another color.."
