Hmm?" She turned to locate the sweet voice that wanted her attention. "
Oh, Miss Granger, hello dear. Yes yes, there are still half the brooms to be done. You may either soak, clip, or polish. The choice is yours." She pointed to each small group of students as she listed off each job.

Ah. Fudge. Conscience.
Setting the broom on a table Beverly walked over to the woman, trying to smooth out her frown. "Hi. Um...It is okay if I help out, right?" This was embarrassing. That's why you think before you act, Wayne. "Sorry for being late. I--" grew gray hair "--didn't mean to." Technically she wasn't lying.
She balanced herself from one foot to the other. Apology accepted, yeah?
Back to work, then. She had spent far longer on this particular broom than she had meant to, but she kept getting interrupted. She wasn't complaining about this, however, because it meant that there were so many people here willing to help out. "
Yes, my dear?" she asked as another student approached her. "
Of course! And as there was no set start time, you need not worry about being late. I am simply grateful for any time you can manage." The more the better, since it lightened her workload.
