The Last of Her Kind ...not real. Well, Adrienne supposed, shooting a glance at Cutty, it was as good a reason as any not to eat them, though admittedly even with her new knowledge on their nonexistence, the food still looked mouth-wateringly good. So illusions, huh? Those were definitely fun, although she knew next to nothing about them. And they were definitely something she could exploit to just about whatever purposes she had, so she certainly wasn't complaining about the idea of learning them. She was just sad that this cookie was fake.
Although... "Professor, when you say they're 'not real', are they just air that looks and feels and smells like food?" Because then she could still eat one. Nothing wrong with eating air, and then she'd get to taste them. "Or are they, like, ordinary objects that we just think are food?" Eating an eraser was not on her to-do list today, so whether she got to dive in to her pile was really up to that.
