She quickly gathered as many cookies, and brownies as she could carry and darted to a blanket. Sprawling out on it and laying all her food down, she spent a few moments arranging it by type and size, and then picked up the most delectable looking cookie, all crumbly and slightly warm.
She had just opened her mouth wide to take a huge bite when she heard someone mention that it could be poisoned and slowly set it down. Adrienne turned around to see that it was Cutty, and she had to admit, he had a point. There was every chance that something fishy was up- in fact, there was almost no other explanation for the fact that the classroom had apparently turned into the countryside. "Do you really think one of our teachers would poison us?" she asked miserably. Whatever the answer was, she probably wasn't going to be eating anything now, but that didn't mean she had to be happy about it. She was really looking forward to that cookie.
The large ears of the Slytherin boy picked up the familiar voice from the train ride in. Adrienne Colbert, whom he hadn't spoken to since and who'd been somewhat quiet in the classes this year. "
No, maybe not poison." He began calmly. "
But the result may not leave us feelin' too clever, I suspect." Everything from the paradisaical atmosphere suggested they be on their guard. That included toward the digestible offerings. A clever test, maybe? But not deadly. Professor Fuller just GOT this job!
Speaking of the wizard, Fuller had made his appearance and Cutty swore, doubly swore, that if he was ever in charge of this many young and impressionable minds he'd do this exact very thing. It was tricky and just a little bit mind-scrambling. Cutty loved it. His hand went into the air as Fuller asked the class, at large, a question. "
Will we be learning about charms used for illusions, Professor?" Mirages, glamours, and fake-outs. That'd be exciting.
