Good. The twigs on his broom were all clipped and polished. Nice and easy. He glanced over and saw West, the Slytherin captain, watching them all and he knew that he was probably keeping track of who was there and what they were doing. Yes, we see you Mister Captain. Good thing Caleb was here despite his achy knees!
Onto the broom handle. He took a bottle of broom handle polish and one of the old rags nearby, dumping a generous amount onto the cloth. He then took it and started to shine the handle, smiling as the small patches of dirt and grime came off with ease.
