Lux listened intently as the Professor gave them the next set of instructions. Everything seemed simple enough, but she wanted to first try the pronunciation before even attempting to try it out on a dummy. She had a feeling that her main issue with spells was confidence, but that didn't mean she wanted to risk causing an accident with a chain if she did not cast correctly.
"Ligatenous... Ligatenous... Ligatenous..." she said aloud, hoping that she was doing it correctly.
Once she was feeling confident enough, she headed over to one of the dummies and pointed her wand at it. "Ligatenous." Nothing happened. Whaaaa. She needed to concentrate more.
Trying again, she focused really hard on making a chain to wrap around the dummy before pointing at it and saying the Ligatenous spell. A chain appeared and wrapped itself around the dummy.
