"How grunge of you," commented Louis as Delilah mentioned she only had faded jeans to wear. "I'm sure you'll look amazing either way." He took a sip of pumpkin juice from his goblet, growing a little distracted by thoughts of the upcoming photoshoot to notice the blonde girl standing across from him.
Gulp. Uhh..
The boy placed his goblet back on the table and furrowed his brows at Delilah as she just began to lean towards him. It took him a couple seconds to realize - she was about to kiss him! And without warning, too, how spontaneous of her.
And just when it seemed like Delilah's rosy lips were going to meet his, the girl pulled away. Just like that! Louis's blue eyes flickered open, his expression puzzled. What was that?!
Just a second later, the girl was sitting again as if nothing had happened.
"Wh--what?" Must've been karma for not sharing his croissant. Brief disappointment crossed the boy's features for a moment - was it terrible to admit he'd kind of been looking forward to kissing his new friend? - before he snapped back to reality. "You're a real tease, D," he said with a soft chuckle, shaking his head in shame for having fallen flat for that trick.
