She'd had her nose virtually buried in the file when the door had opened and someone walked in. She was aware of their presence, but owing to the fact that only her employees had access, and even then had prior permission directly from her... it wasn't something that concerned her.
Finishing the the sentence she was reading, Emily spared a glance at the company, noticing Skander diligently returning some evidences. Good good. She wasn't about to disturb him, just as it seemed he wasn't going to disturb her, so she contentedly continued with her page.
Considering there wasn't much to comprehend on this particular matter, Emily had read and reread the folders contents thrice hoping that she was having a momentary laspe of brain function and that there was more than this progress in the case. Sadly.. her brain was functioning fine. Peering up at the sound of her name, Emily offered Skander a small smile, "Of course you can, what's up?" she replied casually, swiftly closing the flimsy folder and securing it against her chest.
