He was a nice guy, he was sure she probably was to. Somewhere. Hidden from what he had seen of her.
Flamsteed always made Astronomy lessons that little bit more interesting in the Slytherin's opinion. He shrugged at what she said, not really agreeing. He might've been excitable perhaps, passionate was probably the better word. "Don't you think that engages you? It makes you want to listen and join in more than some of the other Professors." Naming no names. Though Terry quite liked the majority of the staff anyway. "At least you remember his lessons."
The sixteen year old shuffled on his chair only to receive a distinct clicking noise. Umm, was that his hip? He made no reaction, trying to disguise that anything had just happened and continued on as normal. "Its supposed to be a pep rally" he informed her, glancing briefly around the room. "But it looks more like a party for the ghosts." Not that it was that bad a thing, perhaps they deserved a party once in a while. Something to allow their spirits to run free, excuse the pun. He didn't need impressing. Right. "You already impressed?" Olly said with a smirk, though clearly not serious. Honestly, she couldn't care less about what he thought of her and whether or not he was impressed. Absently combing through her hair with her fingers, she stopped to examine a strand a little more closely. Hang on, was it lighter than the other ones? But that couldn't...
Olly lifted her gaze again to Terry when he started speaking about Professor Flamsteed, without letting go of her hair at first however. Maybe it was just the light in here. Yeah, probably. "No." She replied evenly, her eyes briefly flicking back over to the professor in question. Was he waving at them? Oh great. Olly offered a nod in return. Had he just...? "Is he going to EAT that?" Because EW that food was ANCIENT. And not for them.
Ah good, it looked like he'd realized that too. Not that she cared. But watching a professor throwing up was NOT something she wanted to do.
Party for the ghosts, yeah. Olly nodded along thoughtfully, a frown on her face now as she glanced down into her cup. Which was empty. Great. And now one of the ghosts was talking to them. Well, to TERRY. Giving him another look, she slowly leaned forward in her seat and tried to get around the water cooler to fill her cup again. Without success. Okay, no more water then. Because getting up was out of the question. |
