And what was feng shui? Sounded like some weird type of magic. And he was not the only one thinking that. A younger claw asked and got an answer. Ah something about China and moving furniture around. Not that interesting.

Ouch that did hurt a little about not winning anything in the past couple years. But it is not like anyone was beating Hufflepuff anytime soon.See Nigel was going to keep quiet about her moving all the furniture around. But the couch was already in the best possible place. It did not need to be moved. But it is not like he can tell her no. Merlin's pants. Sigh.

"Need any help?"

He was a Prefect after all.
Ohhhh levitate. "Sure, I'll take one!" The Headmistress put out her palm like he was just going to drop one in. Go on then, Nigel Boy. Levitate her.

AHAHA there it was, the offer to help. The redhead's face positively lit up. "ABSOLUTELY! Thank you for offering, Prefect. I knew we picked you for a good reason." She beamed at him. "First things first, that couch HAS to go..... to the other side of the room, of course!"

But it couldn't hurt their chances. Right?? "If we come in third in at least something, then maybe we'll do more feng shui in here," Jun nodded. If Elwood would let them anyway. She was a divination professor after all. She should believe in these things.

"Uh, sure," How could Jun deny the headmistress some help? She would force him anyway. Walking over to the chairs, he took two and start dragging them. "Where do you think we should put these?" She seemed like the expert in this anyway.
"I agree. It's a good strategy, no?" She smiled at the helpful Ravenclaw lad and pointed to the windows. "Those will look nice over there, ya know? You'll be able to sit and study and get your Vitamin D all at the same time." Brilliant!

Mo moved the chair back as soon as her back was turned, with a flick of his wand.

"Headmistress," Mo called across the room as he hurriedly put his wand away. "I'd be carefully kicking the furniture around in here. Someone keeps sticking things down with a semi-permanent Sticking Charm." Usually just someone's homework or a quill, but it wasn't beyond the ken that furniture was next.
"Who does that?!" the redhead whirled on the spot for the source of the person talking at her... but oh, it was just Marcus. He was a good little Branxton! The son of a former Headmistress and Board Governor! He would never lie to her.

"What a clever way to practice your spellwork," she smirked and went back to moving things. "I'll join in." She pointed her wand at the ottoman instead and levitated it. Soooooo much easier.

She got up and moved seats, taking the puffs with her, in attempt to stay out of the way. She wasn't sure how to help because it wasn't her idea and she didn't want to make the vibe any worse by moving something in the wrong place.
"Hello dear!" the Headmistress greeted the younger 'Claw. "Care to help move things? That coffee table needs to be at 45 degree angle."
