If she liked creatures or herbology then maybe. He had lots of different contacts because of his mum. “I have a pet Phoenix” he suggested. That one usually worked, it was such an unusual creature that very few had the opportunity of keeping.
Terry’s eyes went to follow her eye movement when he suddenly felt himself being pulled closer to her. Woah. “You’ve changed your tune” he went to smirk but she really didn’t seem like the joking type. “Is there a reason you are heading from the Professor?” he asked. He thought Flamsteed was awesome, not worth hiding from.
He watched as a ghost floated into the room screaming about not being invited to the party. “I wouldn’t call it a party..” he shrugged, talking to whoever was listening. “Its not exactly lively” he mumbled to himself but then realised what he had just said. Oops, they wouldn’t find that offensive would they? Terry thought ghosts were fascinating after all. “I’m Terry” he replied, though he thought she probably wasn’t listening to him. It depends blablablabla- That was lame and Olly was about to point that out when he DID finally say something interesting. Or at least, remotely interesting. Okay, it was something. She wasn't going to start squealing or get all excited over him owning a phoenix. Not really the animal person here. Nonetheless, he got a nod. "Not really life-changing but alright." Better than owning a cat for sure.
Olly didn't even deem his comment worth a verbal reply but sent a quick glare at him instead. Also she'd let go of his arm immediately once he had stumbled more or less out of sight. "He's weird." That was reason enough, yeah? Plus she didn't really have to justify her decision in front of the boy, did she? Especially not since he was now TALKING TO THE GHOST. Seriously, which part of 'hiding from the other people' did he not get? She frowned.
And smirked slightly even though she gave him a 'REALLY?'-sort of look at his next words. Not lively, seriously? It was still slightly weird that he was standing while she was sitting though. Since apparently he was staying for the time being. Well, she couldn't really stop him without attracting attention so she heaved another sigh. Fiiiine. "Okay." Terry, noted.
Now, what on EARTH was wrong with this one (Ian)? "Could someone get him out of here?" He was loud. It was annoying. |
