Because if he didn't then this was a moot point he'd just made.
Before she got to say anything else, her eyes fell on a certain professor who seemed to be just as wary of the food as she was. Nonetheless, Olly did NOT want him to see her because that might make him come over and want to engage in conversation. No, thank you.
So without really thinking about it, she reached out and grabbed the boy's arm, tugging him closer to her and more behind the water cooler. Out of sight. Because if Professor Flamsteed noticed the boy he would notice her too. "Olly." She replied absently, not really paying attention to what he was saying, her eyes fixed on the professor and...the ghost that had just entered. A loud ghost. One she hadn't seen before. Why had she not left this room when she'd had the chance? Heh. This girl was not particularly fond of being open and friendly with people was she? Did she have any friends? Because it must’ve taken them a long time to get through to her. He wouldn’t give up. He was a nice person and he’d get through to her. “It depends what you’re interested in” he shrugged. If she liked creatures or herbology then maybe. He had lots of different contacts because of his mum. “I have a pet Phoenix” he suggested. That one usually worked, it was such an unusual creature that very few had the opportunity of keeping.
Terry’s eyes went to follow her eye movement when he suddenly felt himself being pulled closer to her. Woah. “You’ve changed your tune” he went to smirk but she really didn’t seem like the joking type. “Is there a reason you are heading from the Professor?” he asked. He thought Flamsteed was awesome, not worth hiding from.
He watched as a ghost floated into the room screaming about not being invited to the party. “I wouldn’t call it a party..” he shrugged, talking to whoever was listening. “Its not exactly lively” he mumbled to himself but then realised what he had just said. Oops, they wouldn’t find that offensive would they? Terry thought ghosts were fascinating after all. “I’m Terry” he replied, though he thought she probably wasn’t listening to him.
