Hand extended, and white teeth glimmering, Erica returned the shake. "Erica Dixon, but you appear to know that." Which now made sense considering this lady worked in the ministry. With the lady's glance moving towards somewhere else Erica's eyes followed looking rather puzzled inside. "Records?" She hesitated then nodded abruptly. "Yes of course. Just a check up, or is there something going on?" Shaking the other woman's hand firmly, Mariel gave the woman a disarming smile at the introduction and withdrew her hand. "It's a pleasure, Ms. Dixon." Yes, she was here on business which could be potentially distressing given the situation and if proper procedure had not been followed, but she would hope that Ms. Dixon wasn't too troubled over her visit. Though if she was, Mariel wouldn't be too bothered by it. She was only doing her job after all.
Good. Hopefully everything was in order then and this wouldn't be too painful for anyone. Smiling lightly, Mariel glanced down at her paperwork again before looking back to the shopkeeper. "I've received some reports about minors in possession of bludgers." And of course Ms. Dixon would know that sale of said equipment to minors is prohibited without parental consent. "I'll just need to see your records of sales to make sure they aren't coming from here illegally." And accurate records would help that.. as long as she was following proper procedure.
