Stool. Sit. Yes, good idea. She took the stool from him without a word and dragged to the wall by the water cooler, as far away from the food as possible. There she sat down with a small sigh, glad to be able to give her legs a little rest. Life was exhausting, wasn't it? Yes.
Olly took a sip from her water, eyes lazily resting on the Slytherin boy. He was in her year, yeah? One skill Terry had acquired since coming to Hogwarts was how to come up with an answer for everything. Perhaps it was a Slytherin trait that he didn't know about but he wasn't going to let this girl win. She would stop talking down at him whether she liked it or not. "How do you know how interesting a person is until you engage in conversation? You never know, they could have an interesting connection that could change your life. Or something in common to bond over." Though he very much doubted the latter. Plus Terry could bake and who didn't like food? No one. Exactly.
He watched her take the stool with no thank you and his opinion on the girl decreased ever more. Rude. How could she live with herself? He decided not to take a stool, in case there really was some form of wood rot and it would collapse from underneath him but instead leaned against the wall next to the water cooler. He wasn't going to give up. "Are you going to give me the absolute pleasure of telling me your name?" he asked sarcastically although it was unclear in his tone of voice whether he was being or not.
