The redhead made her way into the kitchen, seeing that the boy was already there. "Hi, Bart," she chirped as she set her bookbag down on the table, glancing at his back while he filled the sink. This was a much better idea than going out to that scary lake. Plus, how many other people would have thought to use the big sink for their homework? Probably no one which meant they were super smart.
"So, what do we have to do first?" she asked as she dug through her bag, looking for her notes. She looked back up at him and eyed him curiously. Was that a carrot in his hand? She was so used to seeing him with a sugar quill, she wasn't sure he had ever eaten a carrot in his life. At least not one that his mother hadn't set in front of him.
Bart had just finished filling the sink up when he heard his name and turned slowly to see who the voice belonged too. Seeing Brynny he gave a smile,
"Hey Brynny just got done filling the sink. I think it will work for the boats." Nice and calm Bart was being he moved to his bag and pulled out the wood.
"Got your piece of wood?" He figured she did they were doing homework and she should be happy he had his own. Miracles do happen now don't they.
Of course she did Brynny had everything didn't she? He turned and leaned on the counter.
"Shouldn't be to hard." They had practiced the spell already in class so not like it was new or anything.
"Want some carrots?" He pulled out a handful and reached out his hand to give them to her. Grabbing a few for himself he chomped on them.
"Got to eat healthy to keep up with that fly quidditch pro." He cracked a smile joking with her, but really he was super impressed with her skills since she had said she'd never played before.
Looking back at the wood he set down the rest of the carrots and pulled out his wand.
"Now what's the spell again?" Merlin knew he didn't write it down anywhere, but was fully confident his best friend would always be prepared. Best perk of being a smart girls best friend they always knew what needed to be done.
