That was true. They did try to help. Even though Theo did not really ask for it. Nigel was sure Alec insulted Theo there but did not understand the reference enough to say anything. The Prefect just kept on watching Theo cover his arms in soap. Well of course he did not care. With all that soap of course he was cleaner than both of them put together.
