'You are protesting way too much, Sander.' Sander thought to himself. He remembered something his mother had told him whenever he tried to convince her that he hadn't done anything wrong, even when he did. She had told him that the more and louder he protested, it just meant that he was trying to deny the truth himself.

He knew that he liked being with Tessa. He knew that he liked it whenever he came into contact with her, even if it was for a split second. He knew that he felt happier and more alive whenever he was around her. Did that mean he had a crush on her? Only the young 'uns had crushes. He was eighteen years old. An adult. Adults didn't have crushes.
Sigh.

It was actually adorable the way Sander was acting despite crushes being gross. He really was totally clueless to the fact that he looked at Tessa with weird eyes that made Lux very grossed out. But hey, at least he would not be kissing one of her best friends in front of her. "Whatever you say, Sander." Eyeroll. She was totally not buying that one for a second.

Taking a bite from her sandwich she had forgotten about until this moment, she tried to think of something else they could talk about since he was so in denial about that crush on Tessa. "So what are you planning to do after Graduation?" A nice, safe question that he could answer without becoming awkward.
