"Warming into it you say?" he repeated with a quick glance around the viewing area. You know, Seren's cheer just now gave him idea. Reminded him of a true classic muggle American Western TV show and its theme song. Perfectly suited for gobstones cheering purposes. "Some more festive cheering ought to help heat things up," he grinned as he jumped to his feet and began to circle his arms around one another, bent at the elbows, to place further emphasis on the rolling aspect of the cheer.
"Rollin', rollin', rollin'
Keep those gobstones rollin'
Gryffindors are rollin'
Rollin', rollin', rollin'
JACK STOOOOOONE!"
Alright, so the ending needed a little bit of work. He glanced down at Seren expectantly. "Come on, professor, on your feet!"
It was times like these that Airey's presence was particularly appreciated, the man had a way with enthusiasm, and words. Granted, he was never subtle, and sometimes a bit too loud, but his erratic and cheerful manner was nice in this instance.
"You know what... you're quite right," she concluded with a nod. She didn't require further coaxing, nope.
Yes.
FESTIVE cheering, was the order of the day.
Not even bothering to apologise to the Quidditch Official for what was about to go down, Seren too jumped to her feet and joined Airey in chorus.
"Rollin', rollin', rollin'
Keep those gobstones rollin'
Gryffindors are rollin'
Rollin', rollin', rollin' "
... she wasn't so enthused about the jackstone though.
"Put your backs into to it Lions!" ... no really, correct posture and arching whilst rolling was
important, they needed to go that right to hone their chances, and to prevent injury.
Whether or not the cheering would serve to motivate as opposed to distract, was yet to be seen... but their intentions were good, and perhaps the lack of Ravenclaw cheers would demoralise the Eagles. Perhaps.
