Oh. But Tag was being greeted at. Or addressed. Both of those yes.
"Hello!" Tag responded just as chippy. The kid sounded happy, Tag enjoyed anyone who seemed to be rather happy. "Beautiful day. Seems like your run has brought you to a marvelous place." Tag added on, even giving the kid a wave back. Or, at least it looked like he was here for a run, based off his clothes.
"How are you?" That was a normal question to ask when meeting someone knew. He looked somewhat familiar, but Tag couldn't place him.
Nothing better than two cheerful strangers(?) greeting each other on a lovely autumn day, right? Right.
Tobias beamed at the enthusiastic reply and wandered over to the boy so he didn't have to shout or anything. As he leaned against the tree the other boy mentioned this being a marvellous place, and Toby nodded, looking around and catching his breath as he did so. It
was marvellous. The Hufflepuff had been here a couple of times in the past, but was always going so fast that he never had time to appreciate it. Now he was glad he was.
"Oh, I'm grand!" Toby responded, pinching at the front of his t-shirt and bringing it up to wipe his brow, momentarily hiding his face. When he emerged, he grinned again.
"How about you? Enjoying the peace of the grounds, I take it?" It didn't seem odd to him, exchanging pleasantries with someone he didn't really know, as it was the kind of thing Tobias just DID. Still, just to make sure this was who he thought it was...
"You're Alec's friend, right? Alec Summers?"
