So it was a win win scenario. What he did not expect was for the Headmistress to be making a totally random visit to the common room. Like really.
The first question Nigel had when he fell onto the couch was why. Did she need a book or something. Why else come to the Ravenclaw common room. There was no party or anything exciting happening right now. "Umm...Headmistress. Did you need a book or something.......Fanged Whizbee?"
Nigel asked offering her one.Why not and was she going to move all the chairs in the room by hand? That would take all day. Need a book or something? Of course, a Ravenclaw would ask if she were looking for a book. "No no, dear, I'm just doing a bit of... rearranging." She let out a small laugh and gave the navy chair one final push. There. Now it was arranged at a rakish angle to the fireplace.
She looked over at the boy on the couch and realized he was one of the perfects! Lovely. Then he could help. "Fanged Whizbee?" she repeated. "Hmm... I haven't had one of those in a very, very long time...."
It was tempting. "What does that candy do again? Give you hiccups?" Quote:

How are you today?" Good, good, start off easy. Even if she didn't make him nervous, it was always best to be polite. And why was she nudging chairs??? "If you don't mind me asking, why are you nudging the chairs?" He pointed to them.
Redecorating probably? Still, Jun was sure Elwood wouldn't really want that in her common room. But either way, the headmistress had more say over their head of house. "Oh hello, hello," she'd taken a step closer to the Nigel boy when another 'Claw came in. Look, this one had books too. STEREOTYPES!!!!!
"I'm doing well, thank you. I just... thought I'd see how all the Houses were settling in... and I realized," she took a step back from all the chairs there and propped one hand on her hip as she eyed them, "you know what this place needs? Some new feng shui. I bet that's why Ravenclaw hasn't been winning the House Cup or Gobstones or Quidditch or well ANYTHING, really. Your mojo is off!"
And look at her, spewing total Elwood nonsense. Mwahahaa. The redhead wore a bit of a devilish grin to herself and moseyed on closer to the prefect's couch.
Yes, that couch would need to go. It absolutely had to switch places with the ottoman on the other side of the room. Just look at it. Tsk tsktsktsk.
