Autumn, at least, was upon them, and the days were starting to draw in. But it was still such a nice day out, that Tobias decided it would be good to go out for a run a little earlier than usual, enjoy the sunlight and everything.
He was making good time on this particular route, but he still stopped. Mainly because the Hufflepuff found that these days he needed to concentrate on his feet to make sure he didn't trip, and that meant he couldn't admire the grounds.
And now that he'd stopped, that was exactly what he would do.
He was just looking at the trees and such, and grinning (obviously) when he saw someone... vaguely familiar? Tobias thought he knew the older boy, but the name escaped him. What he did know, however, was that this was a friend of Alec, which meant good person. Which was all he needed to know.
"Hi there!" the Hufflepuff called out cheerfully, beaming at the older boy and giving him a wave, despite not knowing him well. "Nice day, ain't it?"
Sitting and just glancing about the trees and pathway, that's all Tag was doing at the moment. Every now and then he tried to see if he could recognize any of the students, or perhaps even Professors, that may be walking by.
People watching. That's what he was doing.
Such peace out here.
Oh. But Tag was being greeted at. Or addressed. Both of those yes.
"
Hello!" Tag responded just as chippy. The kid sounded happy, Tag enjoyed anyone who seemed to be rather happy. "
Beautiful day. Seems like your run has brought you to a marvelous place." Tag added on, even giving the kid a wave back. Or, at least it looked like he was here for a run, based off his clothes.
"
How are you?" That was a normal question to ask when meeting someone knew. He looked somewhat familiar, but Tag couldn't place him.
