Professor Botros watched Ravenclaws send one of their youngsters, Sophie Brown, and a slightly older comrade, Huxley. The Gryffindors had their famous former? Seeker move forward, the determined look on her face almost caused the gobstones to shiver themselves.

The girls released their shooters, and the stones raced, neck-by-neck, the crowd (mostly the old professor standing next to the librarian) counting the seconds. Both stones approached the Jack Stone dangerously close until the Ravenclaw one bumped the Gryffindor's one further away from the Jack Stone.

"Points go to Ravenclaw!" Botros announced, grinning and pointing with his cane. This was exciting.
