Bri poured the potion in to her mouth, careful not swallow any it, and started to blow towards Fern. She knew what was going to happen, but her eyes widen anyway, seeing a bright fire coming out her mouth and hit fern. She kept on blowing, alternating between soft and harder blows. After a few minutes it started to die, until it started to splutter and fully die. The 1st year then wiped her mouth, and smiled at fern. "So how did it feel like?" She asked. She couldn't wait to write to her parents about this.
Fern matched the girl's smile with one of her own, revealing a large gap between her two front teeth. Bri! What a fashionable name! Fern could remember -
What.
Fern blinked as the girl said she was going to go first. No, no, no. It should be the other way around. Fern was the older one, practically a teenager. Therefore, she should go first. But before the tween could protest, the younger girl was blowing fire on her.
And it tickled. Fern began to giggle against her will and tried to cover her stomach with her arms. However, all this did was make her arms tickle. And having ticklish arms was a very uncomfortable and odd experience, so then she started to giggle AND squeal and moved her arms out of the fire's range. But then her stomach started to tickle again, and she covered it back up with her arms, but oh! That was no good!
"StohehehestHEHEHEopheheit!" the second year cried between fits of giggles, laughing harder when Bri blew more forcefully.
At last the flames stopped, and Fern, out of breath from all the giggling, inhaled and exhaled very slowly, breaking into laughter periodically. Her arms and stomach were still warm from the flame, and as the tickling wore off, she was left with an overall really wonderful feeling. It was as if she had just woken up from a long nap; she felt awake and rejuvenated and ready to go.
"It tickled," Fern replied,
"And, and it felt warm and -," she was about to say nice, but she was still upset about not getting to go first, so instead she went with,
"okay."
Fern held up her vile of potion for Bri to see, any peeved feelings quickly replaced by excitement,
"Ready for your turn?"
