This was why he liked silence, yeah? S'hard to explain to people what went through his head when words weren't easy for him. He liked to stick to a script of a few compliments and curses that got him through his day. Anything else was too personal and too much. He just wanted to bake and get his photo taken. From all of his endless good sides.

So he just blew off her question because he couldn't choose a birthday. That was dumb. And made him feel...well, yeah. No need to talk about it.
