 Fortress of Brilliance ღ Mommy Quad
Nope, Hayley Ann Diggory wasn't here to visit with her owl, because she didn't have one. She was simply here to send off a letter to her parents and auntie Alexis and uncle Fred, and of course, there was a bit in each letter for someone to tell or read to her little brother, sister, and cousins.
She missed them all already, so, so much.
As an afterthought, Hayley realized she could visit with the school owls, since they didn't really have owners - the school owned them, obviously, and she doubted neither the Groundskeeper or the Care of Magical Creatures professor had enough time to visit with the owls more often than just to make sure they were all eating well, and none were injured. She would have to remember that, and make time to spend with the owls.
Now to send her letter. "Will one of you come down here, please?" The small girl called out, blue-grey eyes on the many owls perched on branches much too high for her.
