I was worried for a minute." he chuckled and clapped his hands. It really was a good thing in all seriousness. "Ahh well I guess I can forgive you for the Magpies but you get points for not saying the Harpies." Girls always said the Harpies and it wasn't hard to guess why.

And the conversation was switched back to his glory days--Recard didn't mind one bit. He sighed and instinctively rubbed the back of his head, the spot where the bludger had delivered it's career-ending blow. "It's been almost three years now. I still wish I was up there guarding those goal posts for the Tornadoes. Every day."

He took an aggressive bite of his sandwich.

His relief was evident, and this in itself entertained her. It wouldn't have been the end of the world if she hadn't... but considering that Quidditch was such a big part of his life, she could understand it, to an extent. She imagine the idea to be akin to someone never having heard of MLE, or never having drank coffee.. because Merlin knew that would be the most ridiculous thing in the world. Law and order made the world go round, and coffee was it's fuel.

Pursing her lips, Emily cocked her head to the side. It pleased her that she was forgiven, and she knew where he was coming from with the hole Harpies thing, she was far from being a feminist. If anything, she was perhaps more sever of her sex then most people. It was neither of those things that caught her attention though, but rather, the mention of points. "And how many points do I get, exactly?" she questioned. Points business was to be taken seriously, it meant there was competition, and she liked competition. Of course, this was all in jest ...

Opening the packet of crisps, Emily took a small handful before placing the packet back on the desk between them. She was quite at her leisure snacking in her office. Brilliant idea. "Three years?" she echoed, it seemed strange to think not so long ago he was out, as opposed to being in the Ministry. Different setting, freedom seemed somewhat... limited. "Do you still play?... for fun I mean?"
