Jumping with surprise, and cursing himself for not using Homenum Revelio, Airey stumbled backwards and landed with his back against his door, left arm raised above his head, and his wand arm cross in front of him with his palm over his heart - wand pressed against him.

"P-Positive," he replied once he caught his breath. She HAD asked him a question and there was no mistaking her voice.

With a half step backwards and hands held to her heart, Medea stared at the startled man. Staaaared! Goodness to Merlin, she was supposed to get HIM, not the other way around. Not that she was startled or anything. Ahem. Reflexes. Instinct. Human nature! "Good gosh, Airey." she laughed, relaxing after the initial shock wore off. Tapping her head with her wand once more, she started to reappear as she bit her lip to try and stop herself from cracking up any more. Though her eyebrows knitted together in sooome concern. "You alright?"
